about me
Greetings, My name is Collrane, my pronouns are they/them. I am non-binary transgender and queer, living with gratitude for revolutionaries and artists who've paved the way for me today. I am a healing conduit, a guide and a channeler for divine energy. I am dedicated to the spiritual liberation from suffering caused by capitalism and ongoing imperial violence. Additionally, I'm personally always seeking to be in a reciprocal relationship with the earth and spiritual realms around me.I have a unique Bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands Johnston Center titled "The Synergy of Spirituality and Artistic Expression: Exploring Identity of the Self and the Divine". My studies following my schooling continue to be in Religion, Art, the human psyche, astrology, the natural world, culture, and human identity.
As far as spiritual credential, my personal and professional practices are pantheistic, and in reverence to every concept of divinity. I am certified as a Reiki Master, but bring a unique life to my energy work.Artistic expression and creative healing have always been a part of me. My approach to guiding others through their creativity is open-hearted, community-focused, and respects each person's unique voice, interests, and abilities. I encourage art-therapy and ritual practices in all creative workshops I lead, regardless of participants age.For me, tarot is not just a practice; it is a philosophy and an expansive way of being. I am reminded that by respecting our religious + spiritual roots, our relationship to them connects us each to stories of culture, society, identity, history, spirituality, and ancestry. Interpreting the tarot allows us to participate in creating personal culture as we live and breathe now. It invites us to question, lovingly, all we believe while translating meaning from the card's art during ritual. With that being said, it is essential to me when I teach and guide, to facilitate creation of healing, loving spiritual experiences by collaborating with tarot as a powerful tool.Many people can be scared and confused about what tarot and spiritualists like me do. Both Art and Divination are magic, but not in the way we sometimes think of magic to be---as otherworldly and impossible. Art and Divination allow us to reach subtle magic, to pick up the pen and spell out the story we are living every day. Rituals including art and divination simply provide a dedication to focusing on self-discovery and reflection, much like how following a seasonal routine or recipe produces transformative results over time.I practice as an artist in order to offer this magic in forms as diverse as we are. I know from experience, it is oftentimes necessary to have a guide when reflecting upon and questioning our spiritual beliefs, life circumstances, and unpacking how they affect our physical life.It is an honor to collaborate with you on your journey.

THE LAW
According to the law, any actions performed for divination purposes must be accompanied by a disclaimer that states the service is for entertainment purposes only. All readings also must be purchased by a consenting legal adult (18+) or with a guardian's supervision. So, in that case, all my readings are for entertainment purposes only and should be used at your own discretion.With that said; I personally feel that tarot and energy arts are both intentional and effective methods to reflect upon and heal from deeper truths and to discover a personal creative source within our lives. I intend that each reading helps to heal you on an energetic and soulful level to the best of our shared abilities.MENTAL HEALTH AND THE TAROT
If more serious issues are present, these services should only be used alongside other mental health routines and treatment plans, not instead of. While these healing arts are very effective at accessing and addressing the pain we carry, they are in no way a replacement for medical or psychological help in emergencies. I do acknowledge that mental health services as they currently stand, do not serve as effective healing modalities for many people. My services can help you recover when traditional mental health support has disappointed you or when those physiological services are unaffordable(either financially or emotionally).COLLRANE'S ETHICS
Of course, as with anything, my ability to interpret or give advice following a challened tarot message is dictated by my prior experience and personal beliefs regarding a matter. Anything I advise in a reading is my opinion and filtered through my perspective. It is your honor to decide what is significant for you.
My practice with tarot-in my eyes-is a spiritually based service, so in order for me to connect with you prior to a reading, I will call on your spirit guides as a part of my preparation to read. However, because tarot requires no belief system, you can assign meaning to each experience with tarot rather than letting the cards or another person act as a dictator of your experience of truth in life. It is your responsibility to come prepared as the ultimate expert on yourself to interpret the messages that I guide you through. I will never read about someone who is absent from a reading unless it is directly regarding their relationship to my client; consent is imperative to my ethics. Any predictions, health advice, or legal topics are accepted on a case-by-case basis; and are delivered with respect that I am still a human being who can only speak from my perspective.I treat each reading or energy session the way I would expect another reader, mental health professional, or spiritual counselor to treat me. This means respecting confidentiality, and offering open-ended advice that respects free will and personal belief systems. I will always refer you to the relevant professionals when I cannot offer advice that I am 100% confident in.

Apocalyptic Theatre's focus on personhood creates a tool for meditating on our beliefs, choices, relationships, and spiritual journeys as they relate to the ecosystem of our world, from ancient to present day.
The paired 380-page guidebook details the Jesus story as outlined by the tarot's structure, as well as some aspects of queer history and other world religions. This is not a Christian text and meant to be a project which aids in healing from religious trauma.

>The first reading style is an open-ended tarot reading. Classic card pull. (sliding scale pricing, $30-$50)
>The second is an artistic Aura Portrait, where I use cards and my clairvoyance to paint and describe your aura to you. Tarot Events
One of my most popular services is my event/group readings. I have been doing cold readings (unprepared, on the spot readings for strangers) for 4 years and counting. If you have an event like a showcase fair, a team bonding event, a birthday/wedding/anniversary/graduation party, or even a holiday event, having a tarot reader can be an intimate and unforgettable experience to offer your friends, family, or coworkers. I can collaborate with you to customize how I read for your group--I love trying out new styles of group readings.Some examples of how I have done this in the past include;
~Tabling at an event and doing personal readings (best for large groups, however it will be first come first serve)
~Group readings where everyone is a participant (best for groups under 20 people, and for intimate experiences)
~Workshop-style readings where I guide the entire group through a personal reading (best for groups under 30)
~Raffle/chance style group reading, where I draw a reading 'winner' and the rest of the group watches the reading(s) like a performance(best for small and large groups, depends on the event style and good for shorter time reservations or groups with a lot of skeptics).

Note: I charge a flat fee up front of $50 to cover transportation. From there, the rate I charge hourly is $50/hr if you want to cover for all guest readings, or the flat fee of $50 with guests paying per reading (usually $10/per).
